DON'T QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you are trudging seems uphill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high

When u want to smile but you have to sigh

When care is pressing you down a bit

Rest if you can, but don't quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns

As everyone of us sometimes learns

And many a failure turns about

When you could have won had you stuck it out

Don't give up when the pace seems slow

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out

THe silver lines of the clouds of doubt

And you can never tell how close you are

It may be near when it seems so far

So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit,

Its when things seem worse

That you must not quit.

Yesterday is history

Tomorrow is a mystery

Today is a gift

And that is why it's called The Present!

You can complain that roses have thorns..

Or you can rejoice that thorns have roses!
